"I originally learned this pattern as X-Link, I then found it called Half Persian 4 in 1, and this is how it is known in modern chain making circles, but this was also a medieval viking chain pattern called 'Ormlank'. The older the pattern, the more names it has...." Though it is difficult to see the relation between the half Persian 4in1 solid sterling silver bracelet (also called x-link), and the standard half Persian bracelet (which is a 3in1 weave), they truly are from the same family. The 4in1 version is much denser and stronger (and harder to make) than it's smaller counter part. This bracelet is also very flat and comfortable, but is the same on both sides.
