Helm Chain Brass Necklace

The Helm Chain Necklace is a new addition to my chainmail weave library. It is a simple yet striking weave, I think it is an excellent choice for either men or women. It has a similar look to our popular celtic vision bracelet, but without the vertical rings, this gives it a very linear look which is where it gets its other name which is parallel chain. Though I have made this with 18 gauge wire it is doubled at all points so I expect it to be slightly stronger then our celtic vision bracelet. Made from solid brass this is a good choice for a healing necklace. (Picture coming soon)

Our Chain

starts as just wire...
we wind the wire into a coil, which is then saw cut into rings
each ring is opened and then woven and closed into the piece of jewelry that you are looking at
We then finish each piece with a hand hammered clasp.
